Note on the Treatment of Angular Conjunctivitis with Riboflavin

The successful treatment by riboflavin of a number of cases of superficial keratitis was described in two previous papers (Aykroyd and Verma, 1942; Verma, 1942). In the course of this work it was observed that a number of patients with superficial keratitis, associated with angular stomatitis and other signs of riboflavin deficiency, were also suffering from angular conjunctivitis, and that the latter condition tended to clear up on the administration of riboflavin. Further investigations on the effect of riboflavin therapy in cases showing angular conjunctivitis were then undertaken. These
